Perhaps the most interesting part of the Bluetooth receiver's design is that it attaches outside of the cup. The Deva Pro marks is superb value if you’re not in strict need of usual “BT Wireless” requirements that consider isolation from outside noises. In any case, the bass roll-off on its own isn’t a huge issue because most musical information for bass tone exists above that anyway. I’m not gonna lie – I really like the appearance and the color scheme of the original Deva, but I know many people that found it…controversial. The second generation of this amazing bluetooth receiver based on hifiman’s proprietary solutions and the R2R system is above average when it comes to capabilities.

Using the ‘flat’ preset in Audeze’s HQ software gives it a fairly neutral response, however unlike the LCD-1, the Mobius does have a fairly strong bass shelf. This means that vocals are not quite as forward as on other models and added to the slight reduction in the low mids, and that peak at 5kHz, can mean that they lose a little of their richness, along with a bit of an extra sizzle that can be a little piercing depending on the track in question. The Deva Pro has the same frequency response range that most all Hifiman planars do, and that's a good thing.

The stealth magnet sticker points to the revised driver design of this model—more on the driver redesign later in the Sound section. The new Bluemini is powerful and can output about 200mW but is still very efficient, consuming only 20mW so its battery can last for longer with a single change. When compared with other typical wireless headphones that exist in the consumer space, the Deva’s tonality is likely to be one of the better ones.

HiFiMan have paid close attention to user feedback and thankfully they decided to re - design the Deva Pro with dual - sided 3. I think the question here would have more to do with the use case, and perhaps the mobius gives the Deva the strongest competition. With an overall neutral tuning, with vocals sounding natural, this headset makes most tracks enjoyable. Hifiman Deva Pro is an open-back, planar-magnetic headphone that can be used both wired and via Bluetooth, thanks to its Bluemini R2R module.Together with the cleaner presentation and better control the biggest change however is the placement of objects or instruments in the space. The highest point is actually around 5kHz and as I have mentioned in the past, my ears seem to be far more sensitive to the 5k mark than the 3k mark.
