I’ve read all the books so far in this series and I wasn’t sure about this one when I read the description, however it was my favourite yet! Rhett is a hockey player who has just broken up with his long-distance ex-girlfriend and he is determined to enjoy his final college days. Rhett didn't even like her and had nothing good to say about her, all his friends hated her, so seriously who cares? I picked this book up because I was in a mood to read and discover more sports romance after watching the spectacular FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar.

Rhett is a hockey player and newly single but it seems like he can't adapt at his new dating life because he was in a relationship for so long he forgot how to flirt.He was always one of my favourites; quiet and mysterious, and I was so looking forward to finally reading Rhetts book and finding out more about him. They think they want different things, but when it heats up between them, there's no denying they have something in common--even if it's just for a night.

This new addition to the Campus Nights series is fall-in-love fun, completely adorable, and it has the perfect amount of emotion to push Rhett Rauthruss to the top of Jenshak’s best book boyfriend list! It carried over in his new relationship with Sierra which showed that is just the type of man he is and it certainly made me fall harder for him. Broken hearts is the third book in the series, but can still be read as a standalone which I did this time because I couldn't tone down the excitement over the hockey player/figure skater trope (!

There was no conflict in this and no push and pull btwn the main characters, they were instantly into each other and they were being flirty from jump.Sienna had kept a lot of people at arm’s length but I loved how she was welcomed into Rhett’s circle of close friends. The characters from the books before play a great role in this book as well, which made me really happy, as I’m totally in love with all of them! Rebecca Jenshak is undoubtedly a new-to-me author and her writing is quite amazing, making her books easy to read and indulge myself into. Well actually it turned into something big, but I cared so little and it didn't seem to matter much since throughout the whole book Rhett kept complaining about her.

I’d be lying if I said the cover photo didn’t prompt me into signing up for an arc 😂 but once I’d read the blurb I knew I’d love it and I was right! I don’t know what else to say other than Rebecca Jenshak just keeps getting better and better and I love the college sports romance world she has created with this series and the one that came before it. There are a lot of side characters and the heroine ends up being friendly with them so you just see that bonding. All my attention went to Mav and Dakota like in first two books, anyway next book is about them so I'm excited.

How Rebecca Jenshak continues to top herself when writing these amazing men and then making me fall for each and every single one of them is a true artform and yet she has proven herself once again that she is a goddess of this art. The serial monogamist stuck in a seemingly toxic relationship seemed so closed off emotionally to his friends, despite being a stoic and steady presence. Both Sierra and Rhett are supportive of each other’s sport and understand the physicality of what it takes to be a collegiate athlete. She has to make a choice what she wants to do after college, but nothing really excites her, until she literally bumps into, or more correctly, a large brick wall of a hockey player plows her over on the ice rink. Oh and for my trope loving friends we have the hockey player and the ice skater you’ve all been craving since Netflix axed your favorite show.
