Description

On the nose, this drink has lots of floral violet notes. The taste is floral as well with a touch of vanilla. This gin finishes with subtle peppery juniper notes. At first, you taste delicate and sweet violet flavors followed by the piney taste of the juniper berries.

It is said to be surprisingly light on the palate with a spicy finish and is perfect either neat over ice or mixed with a neutral tonic like Fever Tree Mediterranean with cacao nibs as a garnish. It also works in a Martini with a Dry Vermouth. Buy your bottle here: https://zymurgorium.com/shop/flagingo-electric-blue-scottish-raspberry-gin-liqueur

How Do You Drink Violet Liqueur?

Another thing that makes Whitley Neill stand out from most flavored gins is that all their gins have an ABV of 43%. This means that all of their spirits are still mostly focused on creating a gin instead of just a sweetened drink with a bit of alcohol in it. Other gins might make use of more unique botanicals like ginger for example which will create a different flavor pallet compared to a more standard gin. Place the Electric Raspberry Gin Liquor in a tall serving glass, stirring in the lime juice and lemonade with ice. Sink the Grenadine and float the Blue Curacao. Garnish with Lemon.

Aside from pink and blood orange gins, a new kind of gin called violet gin has been popping up more and more at different brands over the past few years. Boë Violet Gin is based on their award-winning Boë Superior Gin recipe, which is known for its earthy and floral flavor notes. A few of the botanicals used in their gin are cassia bark, rose petals, orange, ginger, licorice, and almonds. In this violet gin, you’ll definitely get the amazing aroma of violet flowers. It contains sweet notes of violet and orange, but this is perfectly balanced with strong juniper notes and other more subtle botanicals like coriander and licorice. The costs for delivery, installation services and any warranty and insurance products cannot be placed on Buy Now Pay Later. To a long glass, combine Whitley Neill Parma Violet Gin and 100ml premium tonic, ice cubes, and basil leaves and strain into a mixing glass. All the same, her data show that violet may have already peaked. “To be honest, we found that 2018 was the year of violet,” she says. “The Zymurgorium brand caused a huge spike. The biggest month we had was July 2018. We had a good long tail, but it’s not a trending product any more.” She says we should watch out instead for mead, vermouth, pineapple-spiced rum and orange gin. “We think that’s going to be huge,” she says, much in the same way a record label might have touted a hot new act in the past. Here, though, we’ve kept it simple and added it to a traditional gin and tonic, with a splash of fresh lime juice to balance the extra sweetness from the liqueur, and garnished with a slice of the same fruit and a sprig of fragrant mint. Because of the floral components of the liqueur, the citrus and herbal flavors of Crme de Violette complement each other well. What Does Violette Liqueur Taste Like?
