About this deal

The Corsair QL looks better from both angles, so you have more options when it comes to RGB light customization.

Next, you can press the Lighting Setup option and start adjusting colors. For instance, you can mix two colors and choose a lighting type like solid, gradient, ripple, or wave. The speed of the Corsair QL fan ranges from 525 to 1500 RPM. In other words, if your computer components are too hot, the QL model will increase its speed up to 1500 RPM. The company says there could be an oscillation of ± 10% RPM when it comes to the maximum speed. The AF (Airflow) and SP (Static Pressure) have two different blade designs that result in different performance. An AF fan or any other with many, thin, steeply raked blades, is the most efficient for moving air. This is what why we use them. The SP fan by comparison has fewer blades (usually 7) with a flatter and fatter blade. This is a less efficient design and at any given RPM, the AF style blade will move more air. However, the SP style blade has the ability to focus the airflow into a tighter stream and is able to push more air when faced with moderate resistance. This can make it the better choice for areas where you need a focused, direct cooling source or when faced with resistance, like a radiator.

Throw Your Computer In The Ocean.

the reason some people use airflow fans on radiators is because the fin density is very low, so the airflow fan doesn't need much pressure to push air through it. (or pull) RGB lights make your computer look better. But, in addition to RGB lights, there are a few key things to consider before buying a new fan.

So if you were to use fan B on a radiator as an exhaust (basically no restriction in the front of the fan), shouldn't it work better than the static pressure fan? I say this because both of the fans are still moving AIR which has the same density...etc. Since fan B is able to move the air faster to begin with, shouldn't the air be able to push through the fins of the radiators more effectively than the static pressure fans? Keep in mind that high RPM could also mean high noise, although this is not the rule. Sometimes dust inside your computer case can cause your fan to rotate faster. Also, make sure your processor has enough thermal paste to dissipate heat properly. think of it as each fin on a cpu cooler is a hdd and how the air gets pushed between it. the smaller the gap the harder it is to push and you loss air and bonuses out. Which one is better? It depends on the application and more often how much fan speed you are willing to tolerate. The AF fan will still move a ton of air at high speeds, but you will have to live with the noise. If you are trying for a super quiet set-up, the SP will fare better with dust filters and radiators at low speed.

They're The Same!?

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Fans/RGB-%26-LED-Fans/iCUE-SP-Series-RGB-PRO-Performance/p/CO-9050094-WW I changed out to a different case with better air flow and i am using the same fans now my temps are 82F on the 10TB drives and 75F on the 4TB drives. https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Fans/sp-series-rgb-led-config/p/CO-9050059-WW#tab-tech-specs

Another thing to consider is static pressure. Static pressure is the ability of a fan to push air through different environments such as filters, radiators, etc. at this point both fans perform exactly the same because they are pushing the same amount of air with the same force If you are worried about the installation process, you may want to consider purchasing the QL model. It has a compact design, doesn’t require additional devices, and you can install it yourself without professional help.

Either let iCUE automatically detect your Corsair fans, or manually select the appropriate product. Computer components improve every year, which increases energy consumption. Consumers generally face overheating problems, so they need to find a way to cool their computer components. This is why we have decided to compare the Corsair QL vs LL, two very powerful fans with RGB lighting.

The Corsair QL stands out in this section because of its innovative design and easy installation. The fan looks better from all angles than the LL model. The sound level of the Corsair LL is 24.8 dBA. The Corsair QL has a higher sound level which is 26 dBA.
