And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. (Ephesians 3:18-19) Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love. (1 John 4:18) And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love. (Romans 5:5) God loves His children as a proud Father. If you have begun a relationship with Him, you are God’s child and He delights in you.

This may happen when you’re praying, studying the Bible, or meditating on Scripture, and thoughts come to mind that seem beyond your capacity to produce them yourself. This passage begins by telling us Jesus knew He had all of God’s authority and power and would soon return to God in heaven. But He showed His disciples He loved them by stepping down from His position of power to take on the role of a lowly servant.Jesus Loves You by Christine Topjian is a religious children’s book. It follows an unnamed male character from when they are a child until they are an adult. Through pictures and words, this book aims to teach children that no matter what they do, Jesus always loves them. This is another way God acts as a loving parent toward you. Parents love their kids as they are, not just as they want them to be one day. Even if they have a toddler that never listens and regularly has meltdowns in public or a teenager on a rebellious streak, parents still love their kids. At the same time, they want to see their children grow, learn and make good choices in life. Good parents love their kids enough to set limits, give them guidance and walk beside them through the good and the bad. Without skipping a beat she tells me how sinners can still go to Heaven, that everyone sins, even she has sinned, that we just have to accept Jesus into our hearts. I’m trying to be as nice as possible but I’m also on my lunch and don’t need to be saved. I reiterate, “I’m really very much an atheist.” She says she’s going to pray for me and thank God for my existence on this earth, and I tell her that’s very sweet, and that I’ll let my boss know she came by. This means that God knows what you need before you ask Him for it, and He knows what you will ask before you even think about it. Sadness runs deep in our world today especially for those who don’t know what real love is. Through the life of Jesus, we learn to see that love is more than just words. Love is taking action.

The day you truly believe Jesus feels for you this way, your emotional reality will change. Because at the core, this is who you are… you are the object of God’s affections. For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
