Retrieved September 25, 2022. Kujou also has an issue with change; she wants things to stay as they are forever, which leads to a slow-burn plot that's actually well done. One of the major critiques I've seen of this manga is that it's slow, but I think that's better than the "oh I like this person and we're together now" plot. A slow-burn MAKES SENSE here. Especially considering that Mikoto is going through emotions, she's never had the chance to experience before. It's very in character for her to take it slow and fully absorb what she's feeling. Guess I'll go ahead and write my first review here? Alright, so it's not that it's bad, it's just immensely forseeable and having such a predictable storyline is what somehow made it popular so I don't know what to say about that. It's likely that it was meant to be this way but I'd say they really tried to make it seem different but I've read and seen a lot of the same genre to know how this was going to go. The thing about this story was that I expected a lot from it on first read. It had the potential to twist the "helpless" maiden and dumb ignorant girl storyline in a more mature and more relatable way where the female protagonists has had a clue of what was going on instead of her not knowing COMPLETELY what was going on. I haven't really finished it but I have a feeling there's going to be another unnecessary love triangle near the end (besides the one that's already been established and destroyed) to prolong the plot and slow build of their relationship. It's not bad, like I said it's just THAT mediocre. If you're into that then go ahead, this story is definitely for you and if you're not then I think you should look for something else.

I like romance mangas where they realize eachother feeling earlier and do progression from there but here it's just woman realizing from chapter to chapter that there is something more going on than just "friends thing". There are two love triangles that kind of morph into a love square, but I didn't find them obnoxious, and I think both of them helped further the plot along and didn't just serve to keep the two leads from each other.

(Especially, if you are a fan of this series) The overall plot is that Yanagi is in love with Kujou, who is completely oblivious as expected. He's Ten years later, they are now students attending the same college. Having failed to defeat Mikoto throughout middle and high school, Naoto decides they will have one last game: if he can make Mikoto fall in love with him and then break her heart, it will be his victory. However, he finds himself falling in love with her instead... Enjoyment: 6 - I read whole manga and was left completely unsatisfied. Last Game is about a guy named Yanagi who was very proud of himself because his family is rich af. Then, a girl named Kujou enters the The characters aren't deep but they aren't that bad either. The thing I like about this shoujo manga is that the guy, Yanagi, is the one getting flustered most of the time because of Kujou and the POV of the story is mostly from his side.(Considering this is a shoujo manga, it should be the girl doing the job right? But nah, it's the guy this time. That's why it's kinda like a breath of fresh air for me)
