About this deal

The book includes scientific diagrams which are easy for children to understand. Also, it includes facts which are suitable for Key Stage 2 children as the topics relate to the National Curriculum for Science. I loved this book more than I thought it would. It is a great resource to teach little ones biology (there was lots in here that I didn't even know). I found the illustrations and engaging components to be interactive and engaging.

Several scans will be carried out and the whole procedure may last from a few minutes to thirty minutes. And sometimes a special dye is put in your body which helps the radiologists see what’s going on.

We envision a few patches adhered to different locations on the body, and the patches would communicate with your cellphone, where AI algorithms would analyze the images on demand,” says the study’s senior author, Xuanhe Zhao, professor of mechanical engineering and civil and environmental engineering at MIT. “We believe we’ve opened a new era of wearable imaging: With a few patches on your body, you could see your internal organs.” With imaging, we might be able to capture the moment in a workout before overuse, and stop before muscles become sore,” says Chen. “We do not know when that moment might be yet, but now we can provide imaging data that experts can interpret.”Body has swallowed Professor Hallux’s keys to the fridge, after hearing Nurse Nanobot tell him he needed more iron in his diet! Whoops!

I would recommend that this book is on display in the class we're doing about their body for their science topic. So the children can freely look at the book at one time. Since the text and illustrations are quite detailed and the numerous flaps, this book is best suited for a classroom or home library. It’s a very safe and painless way to get a look inside, which is why it’s used to see babies inside their mummy’s tummies. The book is based around giving children information about their body and how it works so it only gives one view point. As it is not a book based around opinion but rather about facts. You will be asked to lie on a table or stand against a surface so that the part of your body being X-rayed.
